I am not one to fuss with flaps and straps but I am so pleased with the outcome of the Monica. The shorter flap along with strap closure lends itself to a somewhat boho feeling. Whether you loop the strap around for a secure closure or just let it hang, this bag brings some sass to the table. The shorter carrying strap is a winner when you need to quickly grab and go.  It fits comfortably over your shoulder, in the crook of your arm, or hanging at your side.  And that is not even mentioning the adjustable, detachable strap that can be worn either crossbody or over your shoulder!  With this strap system, the Monica is one of the most versatile bags to wear.
